About the role
As Head of Legal at Verisure Norway, you will take on a central and influential role in a dynamic, consumer-oriented company with strong growth ambitions. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing strategic legal guidance while actively shaping the legal function and contributing to business-critical initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities
Strategic Legal Advisor
Act as a key advisor to the leadership team, HR, and business units
Provide commercially driven legal guidance
Cover areas such as consumer protection, marketing and advertising law, contract law, and GDPR (with focus on B2C)
Manage commercial contracts and franchise agreements
Support the organization in legal risk management
Risk Management & Compliance
Lead initiatives to identify and reduce legal and operational risks
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., data protection, competition law, AI-related regulations)
Collaborate closely with the compliance and HR teams
Regulatory and External Relations
Represent Verisure in regulatory and industry forums
Act as liaison with authorities and external stakeholders
Advocate for the company’s interests in regulatory matters
Legal Team Leadership
Lead and develop a skilled legal team of two in Norway
Collaborate with the wider Nordic legal cluster
Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices

You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing legal risk, and supporting sustainable growth in Verisure Norway. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will also play a key role in executing strategic initiatives.

Your Background
Minimum 7–8 years of relevant legal experience
Solid track record in working with B2C companies or high-growth, customer-focused environments
Broad legal expertise, including strong knowledge of GDPR, consumer protection, competition law, and risk management
Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
Familiarity with subscription-based services, franchising, digital marketing, and customer-facing business models is an advantage
Proven ability to operate as a trusted legal partner in cross-functional teams
Leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
The Team You’ll Lead
You will lead and elevate a capable and growing legal team in Norway, currently consisting of two professionals—one focused on privacy and one with broader experience. You will also collaborate with a strong legal community across the Nordic region.
