Tender Manager to Yinson Production

There are four business divisions within the group and one being Yinson Production, a provider of FPSOs (Floating, Production, Storage, and Offloading units). Yinson Production is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Tender Manager to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tender process through to contract award. This includes setting up the relevant kick-off and strategy meetings, risk management meetings, project execution gate reviews, and price reviews in accordance with prescribed company procedures, processes, and work instructions, and perform project handover to execution teams. Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of technically sound, compliant, achievable, and commercially viable tenders that are responsive to client requirements and in accordance with Yinson Production objectives. Your main duties will be:
- Respond to market surveys and pre-qualifications.
- Review ITT and prepare Technical & Commercial exceptions and clarifications.
- Ensure that all significant risks have been identified and mitigated.
- Prepare Forecast projections and Cash Flow analyses.
- Estimate required manpower/resources.
- Ensure ESG evaluations being prepared and offer to clients.
- Prepare and perform tender presentations to support the applicable tender approval process.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings with clients and provide technical product input as required.
- Manage and lead the contract negotiations with the client and obtain the best possible terms and conditions.
- For every successful tender, perform project handover to the execution team.
HSE Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high degree of safety awareness and lead by example.
- Observe and report any unsafe activities, conditions, or situations.
- Follow the 'Stop Work' Policy if you encounter anything unsafe.
We think you will be a good match for this role if you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marine or mechanical Engineering, and a few years of relevant working experience. If you have a positive "can-do" attitude and ability to see the bigger picture, effective problem-solving skills with a practical and pragmatic approach, and are ambitious and eager to learn and grow professionally, we think you will succeed in this role. The working language in Yinson Production is English.

We are also leading the way towards Net Zero, Yinson's Climate Goal for 2050, with responsible solutions, working closely with like-minded partners in realizing our Zero Emissions FPSO concept.
The project execution hub in Yinson Production is located in Singapore, whilst the operation management is located in Oslo, Norway. In 2014, Yinson acquired the Oslo-based Fred. Olsen Production ASA which already in 1994 successfully executed its first FPSO project. The office in Oslo is newly refurbished with up-to-date facilities and an optimal location for public transport. Currently, we have around 100 colleagues in the office and about 20 different nationalities.
